Planet offers replacement service for the RMA products of serial number from Year 2006. Planet reserves the right to provide similar function product if RMA
merchandise EOL (End of Life) or component phase-out.
1. RMA Process
1.1 Obtaining an RMA number
Customer need to fill in the "RMA Application Form", describing detailed product serial numbers and problems encountered and submit to sales dept.
Note:
Error descriptions such as "does not work" and "failure" are so general that we are then required to apply our internal standard RMA process. If so, there is a small probability that this may yield an NPF (No Problem Found) result. A detailed description of the problem greatly helps us reduce handling time and effect high quality RMA service.
1.2 Returning the product for RMA Service
1.2.1 Once receipting the RMA number, customer needs to fax/email a copy of your shipping documents - Invoice, Packing List and flight details (B/L).
Note:
a. Well packing repaired-merchandise is customer’s responsibility. Planet has the right to refuse repairing the merchandise damaged by transportation.
b. Contents of RMA shipment is required the same as the application form. Planet has the right to refuse the whole shipment if RMA shipment returned is not followed the application.
1.2.2 All accessories are required to be returned with RMA merchandise. Planet reserves the right to have necessary charge if lack of it.
1.3 Freight Cost
Freight cost is paid by customer while customer returns RMA merchandise to Planet, and Planet bears the freight charge when the RMA merchandise has been returned to customer.
1.4 NPF (No Problem Found)
If NPF is detected from RMA merchandise, Planet reserves the right to have necessary charge. Customer can buy alternative product or let Planet send back as the original at the expense of customer.
2. Out of Warranty
2.1 Definition
The warranty on Planet’s products is defined from the date of the serial numbers.
2.2 Service & Charges
2.2.1 Customer can buy alternative product if RMA merchandise is out of warranty.
2.2.2 If RMA merchandise out of warranty and returned without authorized, Planet will send back to customer as the original at the expense of the customer.
Note:
Planet has the right to destroy or recycle the product(s) to allay our storage costs without incurring any liability if customers do not respond to a request of the payment for replacement or return of goods within 60 days from the date of the request.
3. Refusing Returned Materials
Products returned may be rejected or sent back at the expenses of the customer.
The products returned to Planet as listed below will be refused:
a.) No RMA number is issued by Planet.
b.) Planet Warranty Seal is altered, broken or missing.
c.) Merchandise destroyed by improper operation or returned incompletely.
d.) Shipment arranged not according to agreed methods of shipping.
Remark: Planet reserves the right to have necessary charge for the above condition.
